Golden Temple / Harmandir Sahib - Golden Temple is the spiritual Gurudwara of the Sikhism. This is located in between a water tank and here is placed the Guru Granth (the holy scripture of the Sikhism). The Harmandir sahib complex is home for the Akal takht. Golden temple is one temple where the people of all religion visit and worship here. Over 10,000 people visit the temple, daily. Here free meal is provided to all visitors. This is the place visited mostly in Amritsar.
Jalianwala Bagh, This is known for Amritsar massacre, took place in 1919. Here people were fired upon by troops of British Indian army under command of Colonel Reginald Dyer. The bagh is spaced about 8 acre and is closed by walls on the four sides.
Durgiana Temple (Shree Durgiana Tirath), The temple is also known as Durga Tirath and Sitla Mandir. This temple is same as golden temple in architecture. The temple is made in middle of the scared lake like golden temple. Here the major Hindu festivals are celebrated.
Wagha border, Wagha is a village near a road border crossing and here is railways station between Pakistan and India. The Wagha border is at distance 28 km, from Amritsar, and 24 km from Lahore (Pakistan). People often attracted by the ceremony that happens at the border gate two hours before sunset each day. The flag ceremony is conducted by Indian BSF (border Security Force) and Pakistan Rangers (PR). Most of the tourist visit Wagha border.
